Slide 1: SIENNA MILLER went from long strawberry blonde layers to a blunt blonde bob with bangs.
Slide 2: SARAH MICHELLE GELLAR also chopped her hair into a bob and opted for brighter blonde highlights. It's so much fresher and makes her look years younger!
Slide 3: FAITH HILL cut her hair into a pixie. It's reminiscent of her "This Kiss" days and we LOVE it!
Slide 4: EMMA STONE always looks great, but this chin grazing red bob is just goreous!
Slide 5: LAUREN CONRAD went from a "LOB" to a full on piece-y bob.
Slide 6: TAYLOR SWIFT finally made a change to her natural long blonde cut and it paid off! The singer is rocking her new short cut!
Slide 7: NICOLE RICHIE went all kinds of colors this year. Very few people can pull off lilac AND turquoise, but she did it effortlessly.
Slide 8: JENNIFER LAWRENCE started the year with a pixie cut but let her layers grow out to a nice chin-length. This easy-going style matches her personality perfectly.

Slide 9: MALIN ACKERMAN followed suit with Miley Cyrus and cut her hair into a side-shaved faux-hawk. It's not our favorite look on her.
Slide 10: KATY PERRY went form a raven bob to slime green. She's now back to her original color...thank goodness!
Slide 11: LENA DUNHAM went from bruntette, to blonde to lime green. The cut is adorable on her but that color is so hard to pull off.
Slide 12: KYLIE JENNER had the most hair transformations this year than anyone else. The sad thing is, the look she started with really suits her the best. Luckily, it's inevitable that one day she'll go back to it.
Which celebrity do you think had the best transformation this year? Sound off in the comments below!
Can you believe it's December already? Well, as we continue into the holiday season, we wanted to let you know about all the fun gifts we have filled the salon with this year! Being a small business ourselves, we wanted to support others in community. Which is why this year, all of our stocking stuffers are made and sourced locally. Cheers!

1. They wash every 2-3 days.
This can be adjusted a little bit based on hair texture.
Women with finer hair may want to wash every 2 days in order to keep their
volume, while women with medium to thick hair can stretch it to 3 days.
The main point being that washing too often strips the hair
of its natural oils. Plus, the more you wash, the more your hair is hit by a
blow dryer. Which brings us to the second habit…
2. They always use the nozzle on their hairdryer.
You know that weird duck-shaped attachment that comes with
most blow dryers? It’s called a concentrator nozzle and it does just that – it
concentrates the airflow of the dryer down toward the hair cuticle. Going
without it spins the hair in all directions and causes the cuticle to be
roughed up, which in turn leaves hair looking frizzy and damaged. If soft,
silky hair is what you’re after, using the nozzle is absolutely vital!

3. They have a standing haircut appointment every 4-6
weeks.
The number of weeks in between each cut can vary a couple of
weeks depending upon the length and texture of your hair. If you have a short
style, you will need to have it trimmed more often to keep the shape while
someone with long layers can go a few extra weeks. Trying to grow out your
hair? Don’t skip haircuts! Split ends don’t go away without being trimmed and
if they’re left to their own devices, they can travel up the hair shaft and
cause unforeseen breakage.
4. They go the extra mile to protect the integrity of
their hair.
Bleaching hair used to be synonymous with damaging it. But
with updated technology from color companies, this doesn’t have to be the case
anymore. Goldwell has developed a slow-lift bleach called SilkLift that reduces
breakage by up to 25%. Olaplex is another option that can be added to any color
service. It repairs the bonds that are broken down during the lifting and
depositing of color.
5. They always use a heat protectant when using hot tools.
Why? They know that heat styling evaporates the moisture right out of hair. A heat protectant replaces that moisture and also forms a protective barrier over the cuticle of the strand to prevent further damage. Added bonus: extra shine.

6. They take their vitamins.
If we lived in a perfect world and ate extremely healthy,
taking vitamins probably wouldn’t be necessary. But lets be honest, very few of
us are meeting all of the nutritional guidelines, which in turn leaves us
vitamin deficient. Adding a few extra vitamins (Vitamin B & Biotin) to your
daily routine can help keep hair strong and healthy.
7. They stay hydrated.
Those 8 glasses a day flush out toxins and hydrate hair from
the inside out. Hair is 5% water, 95% protein after all.
Country Music's biggest party took place last night right here in Nashville, TN: the County Music Awards. In case you missed it, here's what you need to know...
Carrie Underwood revealed she will be having a boy come spring. (well, actually Brad Paisley did the revealing.)
Taylor Swift was a no-show. The newly coined "pop-star," may have ditched her cowboy boots for good after all.
Though it seemed like an unlikely pairing, Ariana Grande took the stage with Little Big Town, collaborating on her hit, "Bang, Bang," and it was kind of amazing.
Kacey Musgraves had big hair...really, REALLY, big hair.
And the gals did not disappoint with their red carpet looks. See what we mean below:
Miranda Lambert in Bibhu Mohapatra.
Kimberly Perry.
Little Big Town's Kimberly Schlapman.
Little Big Town's Karen Fairchild.
Kellie Pickler.
Meghan Trainor.
