THE NEWEST HAIR COLOR TREND!

First there was Balayage, then came Ombre and now there's ecaille (French for tortoise shell).
The trend originated in Paris but has made it's way stateside by way of many celebrities including Blake Lively, Khole Kardashian, Jessica Biel and Rosie Huntington-Whitely.

The multi-dimensional look includes lots of golden, honey and amber highlights and similarly to ombre, has a graduation of color from dark to light. Rich caramel pieces are woven in to create variation and an all over gloss polishes off the look, fully spotlighting the different tones.

THE LOB vs. THE SHAG

According to Glamour Magazine, the haircut of 2015 is the Shag:

It first made it's debut on the Spring RTW runways at Tom Ford, Anna Sui and Marc Jacobs. The shag differs from "the lob," by bringing the shorter layers towards the front and leaving longer layers in the back. Similar to the "the lob," it can work with or without bangs and have either a center or side part. It can also be a variety of lengths depending on your hair texture.

RECAP: 2015 GOLDEN GLOBES

The 72nd annual 2015 Golden Globes were held last night in Beverly Hills, CA. It's always fun to see which trends show up on the red carpet. This year there were a lot of red, white, pastel, metallic and jewel-toned gowns. And of course there were a few wild cards like, Emma Stone, who wore a Lanvin one-piece pants suit.
