Earlier this year we ran a contest to win a free makeover called New Year, New You. After reading through numerous nominations, we chose three women whose stories truly tugged at our hearts.
There were each given a head-to-toe makeover with hair by Fruition Salon, makeup by Katie Russo Beauty and a new outfit provided by Muse Boutique and Leona by Lauren Leonard.

1. ALMA 

• Nominated by her husband.
• Alma is a stay at home mom of two kids. Her youngest son was born with a heart condition and has been in and out of the hospital, already having to go endure two open heart surgeries.

• Nominated by her daughter.
• Linda works as a massage therapist and is the joy and heart of her family. She is a huge giver and because of that, rarely has time to treat herself.

3. MARIA

• Nominated by her friend.
• Maria is also a stay at home mom for two kids. She had recently lost a lot of weight, but was having a hard time finding ways to dress her new figure and was struggling with her self esteem.
